DENVER DANCE COMPANY PREMIERES NEW WORK
SPEAKING OF DANCE performs at the Colorado History Museum for Quiltspeak


Denver, CO — SOD will premiere "Stitches Tie, Ties Bind," a dance commissioned by the Colorado Historical Society to be performed in conjunction with "Quiltspeak," an exhibition of quilts and the stories they tell. There will be two free performances of this work at noon and 2:00 p.m. at the Colorado History Museum, 1300 Broadway, on Saturday, October 20, 2001. Choreography is by Deborah Reshotko. Music is composed by Michael Stanwood and will be performed by Michael Stanwood, Mark McCoin and Dexter Payne. The dancers are Daniele Donatelli, Susan Coates, Meg Hill, Kelley Lehman, Charlotte McNally and Becky Siervers. The concerts are suitable for children and adults alike.
